WELCOME - We encourage you to browse through the many rental cottages and cottage rentals that we are offering for rent on both Higgins Lake and Houghton Lake and the AuSable River. The cottages we rent are privately owned and often used by the owners throughout the year. The cottages vary in size, location, and content. All lake front cottage rentals offer a dock and boat mooring buoy, most offer bonfire pits, and each cottage offers outdoor furniture and grills. The rental cottages are generally well outfitted to blankets, pillows, and most kitchen accessories.  We provide linens and pillowcases, and we can provide towels.  Very few of the cottages allow pets.
